BTCC - concept

can't get the real pics of the BTCC car Gen-2 (sold as Pesona in Malaysia)
this is Concept taken in Guangzhou Auto Show, China

This car will be set to Next Generation Touring Car spec series...the “unbranded” turbo direct injection electronic throttle engine, which has 2.0 liters in displacement and makes over 300 horses, with the option for an overboost as well....but...British Touring Car Championship organiser TOCA has today (21st April 2011) announced that following full analysis of technical data* and taking into consideration other relevant results/information, the new maximum boost limit for all turbocharged cars in the series will be 0.1 bar lower than that recorded by each car on the TOCA Performance Monitoring Device (Logger) during qualifying and rounds four, five and six at Donington Park. This will take effect for and from seven (7) of the 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (Thruxton 30 April-1May). It effectively means that whatever boost pressure each car was previously logged as using (i.e below the former 1.8 limit), then they will each now run to 0.1bar less
